Workshop Dates

APTATS San Diego Workshop: January 19th, 2008

If the above date does not fit your schedule, personal workshop dates may be available.

The workshops includes Six hours of instruction,10AM-5PM, with a one hour lunch break. The 10 AM start time will allow you to photograph in the morning and still attend the workshop.

The cost of the 1 day workshop is $399.

This workshop is being held the day before the start of the Birds As Art San Diego IPT. You do not have to registered to attend the BAA IPT to attend this workshop. I will be co-leading the IPT with Arthur Morris. It is possible to register for and attend both the APTATS workshop and the BAA IPT.

The workshop is being held at the Best Western Seven Seas Hotel, 411 Hotel Circle South, San Diego, CA 92108,

Cost includes:

• Six hours of instruction each day from 10AM-5PM each day, with a one hour lunch break.
• All instruction projected for easy viewing with a digital projector
• Step by step PDF tutorials will be supplied on CD or USB drive

A non-refundable deposit of $199 is required to reserve a workshop space. The balance of $200 is due 30 days before the workshop date.

APTATS information

The APTATS techniques are new optimization methods designed for the bird and nature photographer who knows basic Photoshop techniques but would like to learn new advanced techniques for optimizing and repairing their images quickly and without leaving a trace. By following along in the workshop and with the tutorials, you should quickly become comfortable using masks, layers, and transform commands to repair and optimize digital images, Speed, simplicity, and the lack of visible telltale artifacts are the primary goals of the APTATS techniques.
